The distinctive development will be built on 43.7 acres located on Carver Road with a ten-acre lake and island.  The 47 residential lots range in size from 20,000 square feet to over 35,000 square feet.  There are five large estate lots on the north side of the community, 11 waterfront lots on an island in the center of the lake, and another 31 waterfront lots around the lake.  The remaining eight acres of the site include the circular drive and the landscaped edges and buffers.

The main entrance to the community is at the southwest corner of the site. It is gated to ensure the privacy and security of the community while providing the necessary access for police and fire services.  The entry includes a security gatehouse, pavers, masonry walls, and iron gates. Separating the community from Carver Road is a raised landscape area with masonry columns and decorative fencing that extends along the western portion of the property that faces Carver Road.  Surrounding the rest of the property are concrete sound-walls, and a centralized mailbox zone is located on the east side of the entry.

After passing through the entry into the community, the resident or visitor is presented with an expansive 300 feet long view of the lake.  At this overlook, a landscaped area separates the road from the lake. Meanwhile, the northerly overlook includes park amenities for the residents while providing a boat ramp where residents can easily access the lake to launch boats and other watercraft.  A third lake overlook is provided on the east side of the community.

A dramatic and heavily landscaped circular drive provides residents access to their homes. This intimate private drive offers soft accents of natural greenery. The exterior side of the drive is landscaped with lawn, flowing shrubs, and shade trees extending around the whole community; along the Carver Road section, this landscape area includes a fence with masonry pilasters built along the top of the landscaping berm.  Due to the low density and gated privacy, it is not necessary to include sidewalks in this community.  Residents can leisurely stroll through the neighborhood along the tree-lined drive.  Del Rio Lago can only be accessed off of Carver Road though the main gates or the secondary fire and construction access gate.
